Knowledge Centre

Located opposite The South Bank on the Blackfriars Foreshore in London, our design proposal was a Knowledge Center that physicalises senseable technology, where people can respond to and engage with data through visual typologies. This idea came about as there is a significant amount of transportation activity that occurs on a daily basis there, making it a large hub.

It actively connects with how the city functions and enhances the highly relevant current and global initiatives that further appoints conversation with the general public. It allows for innovation, experience, creativity and connectivity through the nodes and extended urban network of transportation and infrastructure. The nodes activate the connections of the existing educational infrastructure with the proposed knowledge Centre.

The integration of the digital age of transportation was emphasised on information, knowledge and experience. Precedent studies of the MIT car and Heathrow Pods look at the future of urban mobility (controlled independantly).
