I completed a three month internship at HOK Architects in Dubai, UAE, and assisted with numerous projects over the course of my time there as an Architectural Intern.

 

The examples illustrated below were completed as options for a children's club that was to be part of a five star hotel located in Doha. I completed this using Revit, and adhered to the requirements that I was given along with my own creative input and insight.

 

The cut outs/perforation on the facade allows for it to become interactive through the exterior and interior; an idea for rock climbing that children can pursue. The skylights and use of glass ensure that there is plenty of light in the structure, causing the space to be bright and vivid. Furthermore, the options with the horiztonal louvres are controlled by the sun and hence are adjusted automatically.
